ARMED FORCES FAMILIES SERVICES -
Emergency communication, information, referral and emergency financial assistance are available to active military and their families. No fee. Call for information.
Eligibility: Must be active military, or a family member of an individual who is active military.

BLOOD BANKS -
Holds blood drives, serves as blood bank, and provides blood pressure screening. No fee. Small fee may apply for private blood banking. Call for information.
Eligibility: None.
Volunteer Opportunities: Volunteers are needed to help with blood drives and for special events.

DISASTER PROGRAMS -
Provides food, clothing, and shelter for disaster victims. No fee. Donation accepted. For disaster assistance first contact local fire department.
Volunteer Opportunities: Volunteers are needed in times of disaster to help in all areas. Call for additional information and to inquire about training opportunities and requirements.

MATERIAL RESOURCES -
Offers free smoke detectors. No fee. Contact local fire department.
Eligibility: Must be identified as low income and a resident of Steuben County.

PROJECT SHARE -
Provides assistance with utility bill payments including electric and gas bills. No fee. Call for an intake appointment.
Eligibility: Must be 61 or older, receiving disability or workers compensation.

RED CROSS TRAINING COURSES -
Offers courses in First Aid, CPR, AED, Baby Sitting, Water Safety and Workplace Safety programs, and Disaster Response and Preparedness. Minimal fees charged for some courses. Donation accepted. Call for information.

Volunteer Opportunities: Office help and trainers are needed.
