Disaster Assistance Guide

For inclusion in the 2-1-1 HELPLINE Disaster Assistance Guide template, please contact us.

The most recent Guide was compiledfor a disaster drill, October 2015.  Prior to that, we prepared numerous editions of the Guide in response to flooding in Yates County, May 2014. This document was released within 24 hours of the incident and was updated at least daily until the initial response shifted to long term recovery.  Although the Yates County Disaster Assistance Guide is now out of date, it is provided here as an example.

Volunteers are always needed to be trained to respond during each phase of a disaster. To find opportunities to get involved, search our 2-1-1 Give Help opportunities lists HERE.
