This site was inspired by the Adolescent Health & Wellness Conference held during Spring 2009. Most of the attendees were adults, many from schools or other organizations working with teens and young adults. The presenters, including a panel of teenagers, did a fantastic job of describing some concrete ways of talking or interacting with young people, and we realized that 2-1-1 Helpline had listings of agencies offering services to this group but that we might need to incorporate new ways of accessing information into what we do.
